FAMILY OWNED

Don and Roye Roush moved from Gahanna Ohio to Orient and started the seed business. Roy with Judy Roush had been the principal at R farm for most of history. Gretchen Mossbarger ran the business for 20 of the 70 years. 2018 Becky Moehl returned to operated and managed the farm in 2022 Husband Chad joined the family seed farm operation.

OUR EXPERIENCE

In 2024 R farm celebrated 75 years of providing quality wheat and soybean seed to farmers in central Ohio. In addition to our 75 years of experience, we work with great experienced partners like Advanced Genetics Inc, and Seed Genetics Direct in Ohio for seed production. OUR PEOPLE

Roy Roush has been named "Seed Man" for good reason of 60 years producing high quality seed. Now Becky Moehl manages the seed sales and delivery. Husband Chad Moehl and Becky both have degrees from The Ohio State University in Ag Economics and 20 years serving in the Ohio Ag Industry.
